Vol 5 # 4 – The Shopping Cart

Hello friends.  Welcome to this installment of Better Than Good and Improving™.

This week’s story is about two strangers in a grocery store parking lot and a simple shopping cart.

Read on and see just how easy it is to give and receive gratitude.

TSOT 004 — The Shopping Cart.

Sometimes, the simplest of gestures result in the greatest accomplishments in life.

Here is a repeat of a short story about something almost all of us have seen — and many of us have ignored.

Last Sunday, I had just finished loading my groceries and was returning my cart to the parking lot bin.

A gentleman asked if I was done with it.

“Yes,” I said.

“I’ll take it,” he replied.

“Thank you—saves me a few steps,” I said with a smile.

“Me too,” he said, smiling back.

Two strangers. A brief moment. A shared kindness.

Simple. Unplanned. Meaningful.

See how easy it is?

Now you go and do it.

You can place yourself anywhere on the circle.

Pick your point today.

Respect → Gratitude → Leadership
…and the circle continues.
